HEALTH AND SAFETY Your child's health and safety are our primary concern. Our camp meets the State of New Hampshire licensing standards. Staff are trained in CPR and First Aid and there will be a health care director on site at all times.
THE STAFF The staff is carefully chosen for their ability to work as part of a caring community. Each staff member is interviewed, and under goes a reference and criminal back ground check. 80% of our staff must be eighteen or older. We maintain a one to nine camper ratio so children can work in small groups, be safe and have a terrific experience. We believe our counselors are the most important part of camp for a child! So we hire only the best.
PHYSICAL EXAM A physical exam by a licensed physician, nurse practitioner or physician's assistant is required within two years of the last day of the camper's session.
ASTHMA INHALER AND EPI-PEN PERMISSION FORM In accordance with New Hampshire State regulations, the Racquet Club of Concord requires that all participants in after-school, vacation camp, and day and travel camp programs who possess and/or self-administer an Asthma-Inhaler or EPI-Pen must have a signed permission from the child's parent and health care professional. We ask that if your child carries an inhaler or EPI-pen, that you send a second inhaler or EPI-pen for us to keep in the medicine cabinet, in the event of an emergency.
